The Vibrotweed MKII was never designed to be a simple Blackface/Tweed hybrid.

It started from familiar American roots, but evolved into a more dynamic, reactive and expressive amplifier with its own distinct voice.

The Vibro channel delivers depth, clarity and dimensional clean tones, while the Tweed channel moves into a richer and more harmonically dense territory — somewhere between Tweed and Brownface character, yet not entirely either.

A redesigned tone stack, reduced negative feedback and a unique high-voltage tremolo circuit give the Vibrotweed a more immediate and responsive feel under the fingers.

Even the reverb was designed differently: not simply as an effect, but as part of the amplifier’s harmonic interaction.

Artesound amplifiers are not designed as nostalgic replicas, but as personal reinterpretations of classic tube amplifier language.

Built on a traditional eyelet board, the circuit is entirely handwired in Italy by myself using carefully selected, high-grade components.

The Vibrotweed MKII is available as both head and combo versions.

For the combo version, you can choose between two Jensen speaker options:

C12K2 — transparent, bright and highly touch-responsive.

BB40/12 AlNiCo — warmer upper mids, natural compression and a more organic, woody response when pushed.

The cabinet is crafted from solid aged larch wood and hand-finished with natural beeswax, allowing the material to retain its natural texture and character over time.

The handle is made from real leather and handcrafted by an Italian artisan.
