BLUESMAN €2450
BLUESMAN
A familiar voice. Taken somewhere new.
The BLUESMAN begins with the great tradition of American valve amplifiers.
Their warmth, their dynamics, and that touch-sensitive response that makes the guitarist an essential part of the sound.
But the BLUESMAN is not a vintage reissue.
It is a new interpretation of that tradition, developed to offer greater control, versatility and freedom of expression.
An amplifier that responds to the way you play, to your guitar and to your touch.
Because sound is not simply what you hear.
It is what you feel beneath your fingers.
SOUND STARTS WITH YOUR HANDS
A valve amplifier is not simply a source of sound.
It is part of the way a guitarist plays.
The BLUESMAN was developed around this idea: a dynamic, touch-sensitive response that reveals the differences between a light pick attack, a harder strike and the way you work the volume control on your guitar.
Play softly and the sound remains open and articulate.
Dig in, and the amplifier responds naturally, developing compression, harmonics and the progressive saturation that makes valve tone so expressive.
From clean to breakup, and into rich, harmonically complex overdrive, the BLUESMAN follows the player without imposing itself.
The result is not one predefined sound.
It is a wider range of possibilities in your hands.
A TRADITION. A NEW INTERPRETATION.
The BLUESMAN draws from the great tradition of American 6V6 amplifiers.
The starting point is familiar, but the design goes beyond simply recreating the past.
The circuit has been developed and refined to deliver a more controlled response, a tighter low end and a musical character that adapts to different playing styles.
The result is an amplifier that retains the character of its inspiration, while taking it somewhere personal.
Articulate clean tones.
Progressive breakup.
Rich, dynamic overdrive when you ask more from the valves.
And a responsive platform for pedals, allowing you to expand your vocabulary without losing the character of your guitar.
TWO CHANNELS. MORE POSSIBILITIES.
The Bright and Normal channels can be used independently or linked together.
A simple, highly musical way to explore different combinations of brightness, body and response.
The character of the amplifier changes with your guitar, your pickups, your volume control and the way you attack the strings.
The BLUESMAN does not impose a single way of playing.
It responds to your touch, your guitar and the way you choose to express yourself.
20 WATTS. OR 2 WATTS.
Power should serve the music.
That is why the BLUESMAN offers two operating modes: 20 watts to deliver the full authority and dynamics of its power section, and 2 watts to bring its valve character into the studio, rehearsal room or home.
A practical way to use the amplifier in different environments, without giving up its sonic identity.
BUILT IN ITALY. ONE AT A TIME.
Every BLUESMAN is built in the Artesound workshop in the Italian Dolomites.
The amplifier is handwired, using eyelet board construction, with attention to the details that contribute to the final result.
Component selection, circuit layout and the care taken during construction are all part of the builder's work.
Not to add complexity.
To create an amplifier with a precise identity.
WOOD IS PART OF THE INSTRUMENT
The Italian tradition of woodworking and lutherie meets the world of valve amplifiers.
Carefully selected and finished walnut, cherry and maple give shape to cabinets that are more than enclosures.
They are part of the experience of owning and playing an Artesound.
Surfaces, grain, proportions and finishes make every example personal.
An amplifier built to be used, appreciated and kept for years to come.
YOUR SOUND IS NOT A PRESET.
The BLUESMAN needs to be played.
With your guitar, your pickups, your hands.
Because the character of an amplifier cannot be fully described by a specification sheet.
It has to be discovered through playing.
